Manage Mobile Devices

Manage Mobile Devices – As organizations move to support a diverse and remote workforce, they find it difficult to manage the variety of devices accessing their organization’s resources. Staff and students need to collaborate, work from anywhere, and securely access and connect to these resources. Administrators need to protect corporate data, control end-user access, and support users wherever they work.

Microsoft Intune is a cloud component management solution. It controls user access and simplifies application and device management across multiple devices, including mobile devices, desktops and virtual desktops.

Manage Mobile Devices

You can protect access and data on your organization and users’ personal devices. And Intune has tracking and reporting capabilities that support the Zero Trust security model.

Mdm Features To Manage Mobile Devices Like A Pro

Organization-owned devices are registered in Intune Mobile Device Management (MDM). MDM is device-based, so device features are configured based on who needs them. For example, you can configure the device to allow access to a Wi-Fi network, but only if the logged-in user is an organization account.

In Intune, you create policies that customize features and settings and ensure security and protection. Devices are fully controlled by your organization, including user login credentials, installed applications and accessed data.

When devices are registered, you can apply your policies during the registration process. Once the registration is complete, the device is ready to use.

You can use Intune for mobile application management (MAM) for personal devices in a bring-your-own-device (BYOD) scenario. MAM is user-centric, so application data is protected regardless of the device used to access that data. It focuses on apps, including secure app access and data protection within apps.

Mobile Device Use For Inventory Management Has Room To Grow

You can also use MDM and MAM together. If devices are registered and there are applications that require additional security, you can also use MAM application security policies.

With Intune, you can protect data on managed devices (registered in Intune) and data on unmanaged devices (not registered in Intune). Intune can separate corporate data from personal data. The idea is to protect company information by controlling how users access and share information.

For enterprise-owned devices, you need full control of the devices, especially security. Devices receive rules and security settings when they are registered.

For specific devices, users may not want IT administrators to have full control. Give users the option to use a hybrid work environment. For example, users register their devices if they want full access to your organization’s resources. Or, if these users only want access to Outlook or Microsoft Teams, use security policies for applications that require multi-factor authentication (MFA).

I use Android tablets in our trucks, so all devices are in remote locations most of the time. I used G Suite and GoTo Assist to manage them. G Suite is not suitable for device management. There is no way to identify device records in G Suite because there is no unique identifier that exactly matches the physical device… The device tracking number in G Suite is a random number generated by G Suite, not an actual G Suite tracking number. device and G Suite does not select the device name. GoTo Assistant is very expensive and requires additional steps from the user. This app solves both problems.

I will be able to easily manage profiles, distribute applications and manage devices remotely. The remote control is much better and cheaper than GoTo Assist!

I want the app on the home page (andoid) to use a template and set app permissions for shortcuts and widgets. There’s a learning curve and some complex setup steps (ie, work apps that use G Suite), but it’s not a big deal, and it’s understandable given the functionality provided.

Mdm For Office 365

We work in a country with high mobile data prices and we provide laptops to healthcare workers for disease monitoring and reporting, but without MDM we have had problems with users misusing the data sent on the laptops. As soon as we implemented MDM plus on the device, we were able to stop misuse of data by employees and as a result, we were able to reliably estimate the data cost of operating devices in the field.

A great solution for Samsung devices, it works seamlessly with these devices and eliminates the hassle of setting up devices from scratch. All you have to do is give your device internet access, register, sit back and relax. The support is also good for the product, I usually have any issues resolved within an hour.

Working with other Android devices can sometimes be a pain. Features available for Samsung devices are not available on other Android devices, so if you want to use the full package, you are limited in your device options.

We support advanced Samsung features because they provide additional APIs for this purpose, and on other Android devices we support almost all basic features.

Mobile Device Management (mdm) Support And Services

At first, we used external support for initial installation, but in a very short time we were able to create various customization profiles for “bulk” use of some devices.

For our company, MDm has been able to improve the security of our mobile devices, allowing us to install applications approved by our technical team for safe and remote installation.
