Have you ever wished you could run an Android app or game on your PC without being relegated to the small screen of your phone? Maybe you need to test the Android feature, but you don’t have an Android device readily available. Your options will depend on which mobile device you have or which version of Windows you’re using, but here are a few ways to run Android (and its apps) on your computer.

For apps installed on your phone, you don’t need anything fancy to get Android on your PC. Microsoft’s Your Phone app (Opens in a new window) lets you connect your Android phone device to Windows to access apps, see notifications and photos, and send messages. You can add Android apps to Favorites or click them directly on the Windows taskbar.

If you want to mirror your phone screen directly, click on the phone screen image in your Phone desktop app (Opens in a new window). Give permission to the app on your phone and your phone screen will appear in Windows. Now you can look at the phone screen by clicking the mouse button.

Open the app, and you’ll be greeted with a custom home screen and access to the Play Store.
