We are well past the halfway point of the year, and since we are now in a musical drought as of late, I’ve decided to go back and listen to some albums that I might have ignored. Even if you don’t know her name, you have probably heard Kimbra supporting Gotye on his breakout single “Somebody That I Used To Know” sometime this year. She helped catapult Gotye to the top of the Billboard Charts, as the single is taking over airwaves and everyone’s heads all year. But alas, this is the only song that Kimbra really has over here. In fact, her debut album Vows, which has already been in New Zealand and Australia last summer, is finally coming over to the United States almost a year later. And it’s up to you if you want to jump on the alternative pop wave or not.
