And why would the police have a camera on a tripod at the foot of the bed? There was a camera in the shot from the security camera. That’s the one I’m talking a out.

Lauren, you keep referring to Andrew as the protagonist, he is the antagonist, you aren’t supposed to like him. You are supposed to be worried about him and what he might do as soon as he pushed that truck off the road.
The film is the story of a villian and how he came to be.
As for the camera and who shot it, who says a found footage film has to have an editor. It is an omniscient camera that can inhabit any camera at any time. An editor isn’t necessary and they never cheated the idea. As for the issues with the camera with his dad in the basement, I am sure his dad confronted him with it and Andrew flicked it on telepathically, and the one in the hospital was the police’s.
I think I liked this more than both of you.

Though I agree with Rodriguez’s character not needing that “sex sells” moment, I wouldn’t say the sexualization of her character will overshadow all else about her. Granted I am a girl, but the thing I remember most is when she says “Don’t talk to me” to Bell with that death glare. She seemed like a girl you wanna be friends with for sure because she doesn’t take nothin’ from nobody!

I agree with a lot of what you are saying too (though not all obviously), I just somehow managed to ignore the flaws and enjoy the ride.

Personally, I was somewhat disappointed in this album. “Everyone” really caught my attention with catchy songs all of their own. This album didn’t feel quite as “Ingrid” as her previous releases, and felt very lack-lustre and unambitious.

“I’m through” Reminded me why I love Ingrid so much. There’s something about the melody of her music, it reminds me of silk. Her lyrics never stop to grab my attention. This song lets me escape reality, and I’m very pleased with the album. Congrats Ingrid

“Palm of Your Hand” might actually be my favorite off this album. There’s just something about the tempo and how much of a difference there is in singing during sections. But still love the whole album. However, “the chain” will always be my number one from Ingrid.

I agree with Heather on the cover art. Sad part is that it might be the best thing about the album. It’s definitely my least favorite of the other three albums I regularly listen to of theirs, and the low point for me has to be “The Weight of Love.” It starts out with the sound of a poor performance of someone trying to copy their sound at an American Idol audition. There are still plenty of songs I enjoy, but this is definitely a disappointment for me. Bwa bwa…
