The Breakdown: Once Upon A Time In Wonderland Trailer
I’m a little hesitant when it comes to spin-offs, mostly because I am still ticked with some of the paths Angel’s story took post Buffy the Vampire Slayer, but I have to admit Once Upon A Time In Wonderland looks like it could far surpass the show that spawned it. [Read more...]
TV Without Commercials: Game of Thrones 3.7 “The Bear and the Maiden Fair”
Right before our eyes, Jaime Lannister has gone from being one of the most hated, to one of the most respectable characters in the Game of Thrones universe, and this episode completed the circle of that transformation. [Read more...]

TV Without Commercials: Game of Thrones 3.6 “The Climb”
This week’s Game of Thrones, entitled “The Climb” was once again spread a little too thin to be as exciting as previous episodes, but Jon Snow and Ygritte’s ascent up the wall was absolutely thrilling. [Read more...]
TV Without Commercials: Game of Thrones 3.5 “Kissed By Fire”
There appears to be a character in the Game of Thrones universe that is not only growing in popularity and influence, but is becoming more powerful as well. His name is the Lord of Light, and it’s almost mind boggling that, for the amount of time spent talking about him in this episode, Melisandre, The Red Woman, remained absent. [Read more...]

TV Without Commercials: Game of Thrones 3.4 “And Now His Watch Is Ended”
I know we often don’t like to admit it around here, but Lauren was absolutely right. Last week’s ending was nothing compared to what we witnessed this week and somehow, when it seemed impossible, Daenerys Stormborn became even more of a badass than she already was. [Read more...]

TV Recap: Revolution 113 “The Song Remains The Same”
If you were wondering where my last Revoulution post was last week, don’t worry. It wasn’t misplaced or got lost in the shuffle – I just didn’t post one. See, Revolution has found itself into a like-hate relationship with me, and the recent episodes have been teetering on a STRONG HATE. There are so many plot holes and action leading to nothing that it makes me think the writers found themselves scratching their heads on what to do after they came back from Winter Hiatus. [Read more...]
TV Without Commercials: Game of Thrones 3.2 “Dark Wings, Dark Words”
Even though last week was the official season premier for Game of Thrones, it didn’t quite feel like the season was officially underway until now. All of the major threads of storyline have been revealed and I personally had forgotten just how excited I was to see them resume. The one I was most looking forward to the most was easily Brienne escorting Jaime, but now I can’t wait to see what happens with Brandon and his newly discovered ability. His new friend Jojen Reed is especially interesting, and while Bran’s story line was kind of boring last season it looks like it is going to be one of the most intriguing this time around. Looking Ahead To 2013: Quarter 2 (April – June)
With a few days passed in April, it’s time to look ahead to what’s coming out in the next 3 months in movies, music, tv, and games. Before we would pretty much include everything we could look of, but that went deep into the land of ridiculous lengthiness, so to make this less painful all around we’ve decided to pick (no more than) our top three selections in each category. Enjoy! [Read more...]
